Obed Amissah

Obed is a treasurer at First Atlantic Bank Limited. He studied Finance at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). He obtained his GSE license after passing the Ghana Stock Exchange exam in 2015. With over a decade in finance, Obed has accumulated some achievements in his career; He led the migration team from the defunct banks (UT and Capital Bank on Financial data migration) during the GCB purchase and served as a member of the GL and product migration team during the takeover.
Prior to joining First Atlantic Brokers Limited, he was Head of Financial Control and Reporting at First Atlantic Bank Limited. He also played the role of Head of Asset and Liability Management of the same bank. He was also Head of Regulatory Reporting for Capital Bank Ghana Limited. He is part of other professional bodies like the Institute of Chartered Economists – Ghana (ICEG), Financial Market Association – Ghana (ACI), and the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana (ICAG).
